7 Tips to Lose Fat Fast

How to Eat Chocolate

Mar 02, 2025

Hello Dear One!

Is CHOCOLATE something you love but assume is OFF LIMITS as long as weight loss is your goal?

It doesn't have to be!

I'm such a believer in HOW vs WHAT in order to create WIN WIN situations.

If peanut butter is my primary addictive substance of choice, chocolate is definitely second in command.

Because I love them both so much I make a point to have them most days especially when dining at home.

How to eat chocolate with frequency and still lose or maintain the weight you wish to stay at?

MEASURE IT!

Oh YEAH?!

Well who wants to eat only two tablespoons of chocolate chips??

(or nut butter for that matter?!)

NO ONE really.

So the way to only EAT a small amount of chocolate while still feeling like you are having your fill of a decadent treat is to put it OVER or IN something of larger volume that's more filling and supportive.

It's EASY to eat handfuls of chocolate chips, bon bons, a good amount of a chocolate bar or bark.

It's NOT easy to eat LOADS of a sexy base that's filling on it's own WITH the addition of sweet sexy morsels thrown in.

How I love to eat my chocolate most days?

I create some sort of sexy pudding/creamy base.

I typically use some combo of USANA's Fibergy, USANA's Advanced Collagen, cocoa powder, PB2, PB2 cocoa, cinnamon, and a splash of stevia.

Then I'll measure and add in 2 TBS of chocolate chips and 2 TBS of peanut butter.

Depending on the day (if I need more carbs - and this is ME, if you have questions about YOU please be in touch) I'll often add in sweet potatoes with more cinnamon, orange extract (amazing), and stevia.

AMAZING!!

This combo gives me so much of many worlds as the base is high in fiber, some protein, and carbs that satisfy.

Another amazing base could be:

 - greek yogurt

 - blended and sweetened cottage cheese

 - silken tofu

 - mug cake with coconut/almond flour and eggs

When you create a base that's filling on it's own and then add in a pop of sweet, rich, crunchy, or slightly melted chocolate you're able to get satisfied on SO much less.

CHOCOLATE 101:

Dark Chocolate: less carbs, less sweet, more fat, more calories

Milk Chocolate: more carbs, sweeter, less fat, less calories

White Chocolate: most carbs, sweetest, least fat, same calories as milk or more (same as dark)

Dark chocolate could be considered, "keto", but you STILL need to measure it.

When choosing chocolate do NOT be virtuous!

Eat what you love.

Eating dark chocolate because it's. "better", for you might not give you the satisfaction you desire from a smaller amount of something sweeter.

Don't buy chocolate with bullshit in it because it's supposed to have less ______ (calories/fat/sugar).

DO get sugar free chocolate that's sweetened with stevia or monk fruit.

Read the label and look for less ingredients AND know that cost doesn't always determine quality.

Buy what you love.  Eat what you love.  Just MEASURE it!

And lastly the dose creates the poison.

You could eat a small amount of almost ANYTHING everyday and keep attaining your desires.

As Fat Burners we tend to stick with higher octane carbs at our carb feasts - but a small amount of real deal treats can still work depending on how you do it.

Plus the longer you're in a Fat Burning mode the EASIER it is to LOSE WEIGHT and the HARDER it is to GAIN IT.

Also the less often we eat the more wiggle room we create with carbs and debatably the amount of food as well.
